Individual Asset Management
Plumb Trust Company provides individual asset management through Wisconsin Capital Management, LLC.
These experienced investment management professionals work with you to define your investment objectives and to design a portfolio which fits those objectives. Our clients generally delegate investment responsibility to the manager who then provides day-to-day management of the portfolio assets.
Your dedicated Trust Officer will work with your Portfolio Manager to coordinate your investments with your other financial needs such as cash planning and taxation issues.
Investment vehicles include individual equity and fixed income securities and cash equivalents. Mutual funds may include the
Plumb Funds advised by Wisconsin Capital Management. Your portfolio manager will be a continuous part of the Trust team.
Mutual Funds
For those seeking additional diversification, your portfolio manager may incorporate other mutual funds, Index Funds, or Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) which offer exposure to other areas of the market such as international, small-cap, or specific indudtries or sectors.
Plumb Asset Allocation Strategy (PAAS)
Plumb Trust Company offers a broad mix of funds through the Plumb Asset Allocation Strategy (PAAS) which allocates your assets across various portions of the market using mutual funds. The allocation is set and and rebalanced quarterly. In theory, the mechanics of an allocated portfolio help provide the discipline to “buy low and sell high” by maintaining a specific percentage range for each category. For example, if international holdings appreciate beyond the chosen allocation range, the manager will trim that position back to its target and use the proceeds to buy another segment which is under its target weighting.
Miscellaneous Assets
Non-investment assets, such as real estate, will be managed by outside professionals when necessary.
Plumb Trust Company also provides custody and trust services for clients of Thompson Investment Management, LLC and the Thompson Plumb Funds.
